ABOUT Project
Introduced by King Salman bin Abdulaziz in 2018, Qiddiya is in the process of becoming a global center for entertainment, sports, and culture. With the commencement of construction in 2019, it is set to feature international sports arenas, entertainment venues, academies for sports and the arts, racetracks, outdoor and adventure activities, and family-friendly theme parks, including a Six Flags park boasting the world’s longest, tallest, and fastest coaster.
With 67% of Saudi Arabia’s population under the age of 35, Qiddiya aims to provide the youthful demographic with fresh opportunities for entertainment, creativity, and enjoyment. Positioned as a world-class tourism destination in the heart of Saudi Arabia, the project is anticipated to generate employment, contribute to the development of a more prosperous and vibrant society, and redirect the billions of dollars spent annually by Saudis on outbound tourism.
