PointStar and Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) are scaling up their successful Digital Acceleration for Learning and Industry Adoption (DALIA) initiative with the launch of DALIA 2.0. Announced at the Go Digital Summit: Gemini for Google Cloud Day 2024, this new phase aims to further drive digital transformation across Malaysian businesses.
Since its inception during last year’s Google Cloud Day, the original DALIA programme has guided nearly 100 Malaysian organizations on their digitalization journeys. Under DALIA 2.0, PointStar will continue as the primary technology consultant, leveraging Google Cloud’s Appsheet solutions—a no-code development platform.
The DALIA 2.0 programme introduces a new AI Transformation Adoption Programme, designed to help participating companies implement AI and cloud solutions. The goal is to achieve a minimum productivity gain of RM1 million over three years for each company involved.
MPC Deputy Director General Dr. Mohamad Norjayadi Tamam emphasized that the enhanced DALIA 2.0 programme will adopt the latest AI solutions from Google Cloud to streamline business processes and accelerate digital transformation. He expressed confidence that DALIA 2.0 will surpass the achievements of its predecessor, aiming to develop productivity model companies equipped with cutting-edge technology. This collaboration with Google Cloud Malaysia and PointStar is expected to boost Malaysia’s global competitiveness.
