Tencent has introduced new AI services designed to accelerate digital transformation for businesses around the world. The company has established nine technical assistance centers in key regions, including Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, the U.S., and Germany.
Daoshan Tong, Senior Executive Vice President and CEO of Tencent’s Cloud and Smart Industries Group (CSIG), presented a suite of AI products to meet the increasing demands of international clients. Among these innovations are the AI infrastructure platform “AI Infra” and the Hunyuan-Turbo model. The AI Infra platform integrates processing power, data storage, and networking to boost efficiency, enabling companies to develop large-scale models more effectively. The Hunyuan-Turbo model, leveraging a Mixture of Experts (MoE) architecture, enhances training efficiency twofold while substantially cutting processing costs.
Tencent’s AI services have already demonstrated significant productivity improvements. For example, over half of Tencent’s programmers utilize the AI Coding Assistant, resulting in a 40% productivity increase. Additionally, Tencent Meeting’s AI-driven features, such as intelligent recording and multilingual translation, now attract over 15 million users each month.
Expanding its global footprint, Tencent Cloud serves over 10,000 businesses across 30 sectors in more than 80 regions. The company’s aggressive investments in international markets have spurred double-digit growth, especially in the Asia-Pacific region. Tencent’s cloud services and AI solutions are widely adopted in industries such as telecommunications, media, and public services, driving digital transformation for clients worldwide.
In addition to its core AI offerings, Tencent Cloud International has rolled out advanced technologies like Palm Verification, which is currently being piloted by companies like Telkomsel. These innovations underscore Tencent’s commitment to enhancing business operations and fostering growth through cutting-edge AI solutions.
