Cairo to Host Pioneering Startup Summit with a Global Twist on May 10–11.
This year’s Startups Without Borders summit is slated for Kamelizer Spaces in District 5, carrying the mantle ‘Break Borders, Build Global Horizons’. The summit expects to draw a crowd of 3,000 forward-thinkers from across the globe, along with influential figures from the technology sector.
Notable speakers and venture capitalists hailing from diverse locations such as the UK, Japan, the US, Senegal, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia will grace the summit. Esteemed participants like Ibrahim Sagna, Sadaharu Seiku, and Michael Lints will share their insights, aiming to assist entrepreneurs in extending their business reach internationally.
“In these challenging times for our region, there’s no better moment to unite and channel the energy of visionary entrepreneurs who see every challenge as an opportunity. We are committed to fostering a borderless entrepreneurial ecosystem, and by welcoming startup delegations and investors from various parts of the world, we’re set to ignite the limitless potential of cross-border collaboration,” stated Valentina Primo, the summit’s founder and CEO.
A highlight of the summit is the introduction of the AI Salon, an innovative event concept making its debut in the Middle East, brought forth through a collaboration with the US-based VC, Blitzscaling Ventures.
The event also boasts the Investor Room, a platform that facilitated 460 startup-investor meetings last year. Startups are meticulously matched with investors based on industry relevance, geographical considerations, and investment scale, allowing for in-depth one-on-one interactions with leading venture capitalists and investors.
