Symbe, a pioneering platform that leverages artificial intelligence to revolutionize how sales teams secure deals, has successfully completed a pre-seed funding round, amassing €1.4 million. The financial boost was spearheaded by Concept Ventures and supported by Pact VC, Notion Capital, and influential angels from Nodes Ventures, including innovators behind Resolv Labs and Founders Capital, as well as individuals from Stripe.
The influx of capital will empower Symbe to broaden its team, enhance the platform’s features, and catalyze expansion into various international markets. The venture is the brainchild of seasoned entrepreneurs Martin Blinder, Thomas Laurbjerg, and Xavier Wilders, whose respective backgrounds in digital healthcare and machine learning-driven budgeting platforms set the stage for Symbe’s inception.
Identifying the critical role of customized business cases in clinching B2B technology deals, the founders conceived Symbe to streamline this arduous process. The platform is designed to effortlessly create compelling business cases, liberating sales teams from the time-consuming tasks of customizing spreadsheets, crafting presentation materials, and constructing complex financial models.
“The core of most B2B purchases lies in the ‘business case’, a concept increasingly vital today. However, the traditional methodology for crafting them is outdated. Despite the innovative solutions being sold, companies often flounder in demonstrating tangible value due to antiquated sales techniques,” explained Martin Blinder, CEO and co-founder of Symbe.
“We are committed to providing sales teams with tools that match the excellence of their offerings. Symbe introduces an AI-augmented method to present business cases, fostering trust between the vendor and purchaser and boosting sales figures. This empowers teams to deploy Enterprise-level strategies to mid-market accounts efficiently and effectively,” Blinder added.
Since its 2023 launch, Symbe has automated the creation of persuasive business cases, enabling sales representatives to construct ‘digital showrooms’ that convincingly demonstrate their product’s value. The collaborative nature of the platform aids in cultivating trusted client relationships, providing tangible proof that sales representatives can use to facilitate internal discussions and seal more deals.
With over 20 beta customers from diverse sectors already benefitting from the platform’s capabilities, and numerous other companies poised to join, the Symbe team is confident that their AI-driven tool will unlock billions in sales revenue for enterprises across Europe and America in the years to come.
The platform excels at identifying client needs and challenges, then curating a business case that highlights how the product or service can address these issues. These tailored, value-centric narratives not only underline the benefits of the purchase but also support buyers in obtaining approval from their wider teams.
Oliver Kicks, a partner at Concept Ventures, remarked, “It’s thrilling to support entrepreneurs who uncover a genuinely uncharted market. The Symbe team has achieved this by exploring the potential of AI and machine learning to enhance the sales process while preserving the personalized touch that is essential for success. Symbe’s technology is set to redefine how companies position their offerings and close deals.”
